About Tony Matthews

Hi, my name is Tony Matthews. You might feel that you cannot share with a friend, co-worker or family member for fear of judgment or feeling too vulnerable. Talking with a therapist can allow you to unburden yourself safely. If you have served or are currently serving in the Military or Emergency Services, you may find it difficult to share about your experiences, especially if you have been taught to suppress your emotions, it may feel as though you are alone with the thoughts and feelings you have, and it may cause you distress or anxiety. You are not alone and you do not have to be.

I am a RE Veteran medically discharged from service and understand the difficulties in sharing  thoughts and feelings. We can look at how you manage and cope with certain feelings, how you can learn to share and express them without feeling vulnerable. I offer a space for you to express what you need to in the way you need to.

If you are interested in working together, please get in touch via email or phone call. I aim to respond to all queries within a few hours. You are able to self refer on my website at anytime, I have appointment times to suit a variety of life styles, more details can be found on my website: https://toadcounselling.co.uk
